The AccelRate3D is an extremely robust inerital sensor providing analog outputs of triaxial acceleration and triaxial angular rate. The packaging employed in this inertial sensor 100% encapsulates the gyroscopes and accelerometers. This packaging makes this inertial sensor so robust that it is able to withstand 10,000g. The AccelRate3D also provides precision references for the X, Y, and Z gyroscope axes as well as temperature outputs allowing the implementation of inertial compensation techniques. Common applications for the AccelRate3D are gryscope stablized tiltmeters, orientation sensors and platform stablization. The AccelRate3D is provided in a custom surface mount package measuring 0.70 in. x 0.70 in. x 0.40 in. The following 'Standard' device ranges are available:
