We insist on excellence in all aspects of our business. We constantly seek to improve our products, systems, and processes to reduce waste and increase value to our customers. We will do the right thing, every time, so that every customer is satisfied.

Quality Philosophy:

MEMSense absolutely insists on achieving excellence in all aspects of our operations.  We strive to design world class processes that consistently produce quality products. MEMSense will not ship suspect product or hide issues. When failures occur, we attack the root cause directly and systematize our discoveries to prevent reoccurrence and improve our processes. Every member of the MEMSense team is dedicated to on time delivery for every order. Our manufacturing system is capable of rapid capacity expansion to meet increasing customer demands. We constantly strive to improve our processes so we can provide the highest quality lowest cost sensors available on the market today. Finally, we want to build and maintain long term partnerships with our customers - we are here to serve customers. We will work diligently to ensure every customer is satisfied.

Memsense Quality System:

MEMSense follows the ISO9001:2008 standard and is pursuing certification in 2010.

Quality System Highlights:

  • Product Traceability: Global Shop Solutions ERP software is utilized to track material and manufacturing labor. All products are serialized and the production process is recorded in detail in the ERP system.  Further traceability is maintained in product test through complete archive of all test data by serial number.
  • Non-Conforming material / scrap process: An internal custom Quality System Database is used to track non conforming material issues, rework, and general quality data.  This data driven quality system to tracks process trends, failure rates, failure paretos and overall process health.
  • Supplier accountability and AVL: MEMSense suppliers are held to high standards. Any vendors performing inadequately are quickly eliminated.
  • Change Control Processes and New Product Release Process: All released products are defined by detailed processes that are revision controlled.
  • Product Life Cycle Management (PLM). Memsense utilizes Aras Innovator to meet our PLM requirements.
    • The PLM package controls all product information (BOM’s Schematics, CAD, Drawings, Process routers, etc.), work instructions and quality procedures.
    • The PLM system provides the structure for our Change Control Process – tracking ECO’s and ECN’s.
  • Continuous Improvement We have a robust continuous improvement process that is facilitated by our Quality Review Board (QRB).  The QRB meets semi-monthly to track Nonconforming Material Reports(NCMR), Corrective Actions, Preventive Actions, RMA issues, Quality Data reviews, and manage internal audits.
