Overview

The MS-IMU3050 is an Inertial Measurement Unit that provides a smaller, lower power, and cost-effective alternative to Fiber Optic Gyro (FOG) based IMUs and other high performance MEMS IMUs. The IMU contains triaxial MEMS gyros, accelerometers, and magnetometers that are extensively tested and calibrated over the full operational temperature range to ensure the highest performance and robust operation. The IMU employs advanced algorithms and sensor architectures to achieve a gyro bias stability of 0.3 degrees per hour and an accelerometer bias stability of less than 3 micro g. The inertial measurement unit’s accelerometer provides more application flexibility with a 40 g dynamic range option. User configurable options allow the IMU to be tuned to your application with configurable bandwidth, sample rate, dynamic ranges, 1 PPS input and other measurement parameters. The MS-IMU3050 IMU delivers the highest level of inertial performance available in the market today.
